Make It Your Home is launching an urgent relief project to support a young Camp Pendelton military family with three small children who have endured nine months of toxic mold exposure in their base housing. This prolonged exposure has caused serious health issues for the entire family, and they have been forced to discard nearly all of their belongings—furniture, bedding, clothing, and household essentials—leaving them with nothing as they transition into safer housing.
With the help of our team, the family has finally secured a safe home off-base in Oceanside. Make It Your Home has committed to fully furnishing their new space so these children can breathe clean air, sleep safely, and begin to heal. Because of their medical needs, all pillows, comforters, bedding, towels, and any fabric-based items must be brand new to prevent further respiratory harm.
This crisis is made even harder by the fact that the young Marine father is being deployed next week. He may not be home for Christmas and cannot assist with the move. The mother—who is also dealing with her own medical issues from mold exposure—is navigating this transition alone with three small children. After months of medical appointments, missed work, and trying to replace the essentials they lost, the family has fully drained their savings and now relies completely on the kindness and generosity of donors to rebuild their home.
We are reaching out to our partners, donors, and community network to help us give this Camp Pendleton family the stable, healthy home they deserve. Your support will make a direct and immediate impact during a moment when they truly have no one else to turn to.

Furniture Still Needed
If you have any of the following items to donate, this would greatly help our Camp Pendleton family as they rebuild their home:
• Full or queen white bed (wood only) for their little girl — wood is required to avoid allergy issues
• Red or navy dresser and nightstands for their 3-year-old’s Spider-Man themed room
• Wood coffee table (farmhouse style, dark wood) and a matching TV entertainment center
• Four farmhouse-style counter chairs
• Kids’ wooden play table and chairs
• Kids’ wooden kitchen play set
• Kids’ wooden train table or activity table
